Hi everyone!
I got Today a link to a company in US manufacturing a OEM version of the detector duo from IDS. The link to it:
http://www.subsite.com/2150gr.html
I wonder if someone here has come across this unit and can clarify a few things for me.
1. The FCCID tag is 2150GR DUO, but I didn't find it at the FCC database of tags, is it under approval or ... ?
2. Does it store data or only the reports with the fancy icons showing the position of the cables, sewage pipes, etc?
3. Price in US?
Regards

the tag is ITQ-2150GR700 and ITQ-2150GR250, not 2150GR only. it has two antennas a 250 and a 700.
isn't it the detector duo two antennas in one case? these antennas are separate, different boxes.
thanks
jd

Hi tsohail92,
GPR technology is based on physical properties of materials, exactly on the electrical properties of the materials.
It doesn't matter where you are, concrete has approximately the same properties everywhere.
GCC or Europe it doesn't actually matter as long as we are talking about the same material: a mix of cement, stones, sand and water.
Best regards,

I'm guessing here, but the reasonable explanation is that he ment:
The GPR can also be used in GCC countries
